Downside Up's mission is to improve the quality of life for children with Down syndrome.

Downside Up Early Intervention Service provide unique educational, training and consultative services to professionals who care for children with special needs.

Our programmes have a positive focus on children's abilities and are formulated on methods which have had demonstrated success in other countries.

From the moment of its opening Downside Up has subsisted on the money which comes from private donations from our old and new donors, fundraising events, grants and corporate sponsorship.

Red Square Bike Ride is our biggest annual charity event. The culmination of the Bike Ride is the final leap through the streets of Moscow from Novodevichy Convent to Red Square, where the cyclist meet Downside Up's children, parents and staff for a final celebration.

If your friends, neighbours or colleagues would like to learn about Downside Up's work in Russia and would consider joining you in supporting Russian children with Down syndrome, please give us their names and adresses and we'll provide them with our information!
