The Charitable Fund Downside Up and Ostengruppe design bureau are delighted to announce the opening of the

International Poster Exhibition
"THEY ARE JUST PEOPLE, ONLY WITH DOWN SYNDROME".

The opening will take place at “Klub na Brestskoi”,
address: 2nd Brestskaya street , 6:
on 21 st March 2007 (by invitation only)
22nd-28th March (free entrance)

Internationally renown designers from various countries will take part in this Poster Exhibition including Shigeo Fukuda, Alain Le Quernec, David Tartakover, Kazumasa Nagai, Vladimir Chaika, Boris Trofimov, Andrei Logvin amongst others. The event will also feature actors with Down syndrome performing together with Elena Drobysheva, Anna Bolshova and Anna Gorshkova, the nationally recognised theater and movie stars.

This exhibition will be dedicated to the 10 th Anniversary of Downside Up in Russia  as well as celebrating World Down Syndrome Day. The aim of the exhibition is to help change the atitude that many members of Russian society have towards people with Down syndrome. The Exhibition will be premiere in Moscow and will tour regions in Russia  throughout the year.

The Exhibition is organised by Ostengruppe design bureau and Downside Up, the Charitable Fund that runs family focused early intervention programmes for Russian children with Down syndrome. Currently Downside Up helps over 850 families from all over Russia.
