14 th April at the “Dinamo” stadium the 2nd charitable tournament on mini-football between corporate teams in benefit of children with Down syndrome (DS) took place. In the tournament participated 9 corporate teams: АТОН , PPE, KPMG, GE Money Bank, Entertainment Centre “ Метелица ”, Baker & McKenzie, UBS, “ Балтийский Инвестиционный Банк ” (St. Petersburg), as well as a parents team of children with DS.

The tournament was not only to raise 510 thousand rubles for rehabilitation programmes of children with DS, but also to make adherents the non-profit and commercial organisations. At the end of tournament the award ceremony took place. The legendary attacker of the “Torpedo” team, Vadim Evseev, and children of “Downside Up”, Gosha Kotsev and Asechka Stepanesheva, shook the hands of winners and handed over medals and presents.

All other participants of the tournament received memorabilia and souvenirs made by hands of Downside Up’s children.

Captain of “Torpedo”, Vladimir Leonchenko, who was in fact late for the awards, took some photos with the Downside Up parents’ team and promised to participate in the charitable, “Red Square 2007”, bike ride.
